I would argue that planetary prospecting the far more interesting of the two ought to be the ascension park while mastery of nature a far more bland reward (though I cannot say if it is more powerful) ought to be the reward for the adaptability tree.

For reference, Planterary Prospecting is the reward for finishing the adaptability tree and is a planetary decision which generates one extra feature on the planet.
While mastery of nature is an ascension perk which essentially increases the planet's size by 2.

To be honest, I'd rather adaptability got a new finisher, and Mastery of Nature unlocked both decisions.

Agreed, if just for the reason that it's really strange for hive-minds to get planetary prospecting when hive worlds almost completely supersede the need for it.

On the other hand, it would be really handy to get for agrarian idyll empires or any empire which relies heavily on basic resources, so it kind of sucks to have it hidden behind a tree which only a few specific civics can unlock.

Also when we are at planetary prospecting already: It would be nice if we could see which Planets we have used this on already without scrolling through every Planet's decision list (just like its done for Mastery of Nature).
