Suggestion 1:
It's nice that we can rename stuff.
Due to the random nature, sometimes 2 important planets have the same names.
Other times, they are just too long/ unwieldy (randomness or simply from another race)
Therefore it would be good if we had a random button option that draws from the empire's own name generator. (Ultimate insult to hostile race once you taken over their coreworld: rename it).
Suggestion 2:
Giving planets unique names is cool. But if your empire is large, it's easier to deal with just systems. It would be nice if we could click a button on a certain system, which renames all planets in this system according to the systems name + numeral. This is already the case for uninhabitable planets, it would be usefull to have as option for inhabitable planets as well. (e.g. "Sol IV" instead of "Mars")
In the beginning of the game you can deal with unique names, but at a certain point you don't know where is what and it can get confusing - requiring you to double check everything.
