Would it be an idea to change the way habitability and planet size works within climate zones?

for instance continental planets and ocean planets are within the same climate zone so habitability is the same for any race that has that climate as preferred. However an ocean planet will have more living space for species specialised for ocean planets and likewise for continental planets with continental speciality compared to the other races. Obviously an ocean race would have more living space on an ocean planet than a species that preferes to live on the continents.

What do you guys think? i would differentiate the species even more.

25 might not be the limit for a specialised species.....

Well it comes down to have you see it I guess. I've always thought that "ocean races" lives near whatever and in wet terrain, not in the water. If they lived in the water, then yes, they should have more space.
If they don't live in the water, I don't see why. And you already get bonuses to live on your prefered climate. Not the biggest or most amazing bonus but still an adventage and I personaly feel like it just wouldn't be worth adding it as it would not make a massive difference or change the game in a fun way.
It would limit your possible expansion and make you weaker if you don't spawn close to alot of planets with your prefered terrain.
