How does the Plan Z event work. You have a timer I know, but is it a TOTAL of the ships including the ones from the start of the match or are these ships you must build?

The goal is:
4 Carriers - You start with 0
10 Battlships - You start with 2 (the old Pre-Dreadnoughts still count) plus 2 under construction
3 Battlecruiser - You start with 0
20 Heavy Cruiser - You start with 2 (the Panzerschiff count) plus 2 under construction
20 Light Cruiser - Can't remember off the top of my head how many you start with
100 Destroyer - Start with 12 plus the 5 lines (totaling 16 IIRC) in the que.
EDIT: But you do have to take into account any losses while building up, they need to be replaced.

Thanks! This makes it alot easier... with 4 BB's already there, 6 BB's is much better. I don't have a place for battleships en masse. lol.
1 Super heavy BB, 2 BB's, 2 Carriers, 2 HC's, 15 light cruisers, 30 DD's for the strike force.
1 carrier, 1 heavy cruiser, 1 BC, 6 Light cruisers and 12 DD's for escort fleets which would be two fleets.
Then the last BC... Eh maybe in a patrol? Probably not since they wont engage. Maybe a new naval invasion support but I dont know how the naval invasion support works.
We are 6 months ahead of Schedule for my Fleet. We are in the process of annihlating all allied ships around England in preparation for my invasion.

I haven't lost a ship yet and Ive killed at least 50 of them... but they have just so many ships between France, Uk and USA as well as their minors that its constantly repairing and going back into teh fight. This is great.
Gonna rack up those kills for my Super Heavy-BB the Großer Kurfürst.

Is there focus benefit in doing that? I only took the Plan Z to go towards the "focus on the true enemy" path.
You cant do plan Z and focus on the true enemy. That being said, there is no real benifit except for stability/war support((It might just be 5% war support)) and like 50 more naval exp which is really worth it.
Other then that, not really? You get also some research bonuses to carriers and BB's. I think just 1x each.

Absolutely badass! Nice job. Make sure you keep giving skills to Raeder. Unlike army xp, navy xp skills dont light up the “+” box in the commander portrait.

Uncontested, the Germans have initiated a massive invasion force on the American homeland and will soon become the dominant force on the planet. Perhaps the Japanese should be the next to fall...
nov 7th 1952 and I capitulated the USA and Canada... a long game over the span of four days but I did it! An actual historical world conquest played game instead of just cheesing WC.
Uncontested, the Germans have initiated a massive invasion force on the American homeland and will soon become the dominant force on the planet. Perhaps the Japanese should be the next to fall...
