Plains to Forest Bug

Hello, I've been playing AoD 1.02 because I can't save any game in later versions. While playing 1941 scenario all divisions (friendly and enemies) get the forest modifier although the combat is taking place in a plains province. How can I resolve it?

by installing the latest patch.
you should instead resolve the issue of not being able to save. It is surely not aod, it must be some setting on your computer.
Probably the aod folder / scenarios / save games directory is being write protected or such.

AoD 1.08 patch resolve the problem. I can't install AoD 1.10 patch because MSVCP140.dll file is missing. In order to save games I had got to install the game into a directory called C:\Paradox Interactive\Arsenal of Democracy because all directories at C:\Program files are only read ones.

Thanks. It seems that C++ actualization was the problem. I can play AoD 1.10 now. But I think that there is a minor bug in the latest patch. In C:\Arsenal of Democracy\events\germany.txt there is a line where it says "Adolf_Hiller_Assasination" and it should be "Adolf_Hitler_Assassination" to match with the picture. Thanks again.

Cannot confirm this. The events 2025 and 2026 in the lines 1358 till 1700 show no such thing, nor does a search of the file the thing you mention.

Sorry. You're right. It is a minor bug from AoD 1.02 patch at C:\Arsenal of Democracy\db\events\germany.txt.
