Are you insane, DDRJake? ;) If I were to play this scenario I'd be sadomasochistic, but you are of course a much better player then me.

The Only Good Roman Is A Dead Roman

Mighty Mali does the best he can, but who would have expected Roman High Heels to survive across the desert? Many Romans die to spears and many more die to thirst and heatstroke but Mali is kicked out of the war for 5 years, paying over 100 ducats per month in tribute. Naval superiority is established by the powers of Cogwall and Sunda as Otomis ships over everything the American's sons of men can spare.

Everybody is doing their part. The Sundan conquest of Japan begins as the North Korean wall of bodies is built. BYZ, unable to cross over to the Cornish Isles decides to build troops in every single European province and march them to India. Indians line the mountains to the north and fill the valleys to the East to ensure not a single Roman slips through. The battlefield in Western India is one of the bloodiest ever seen. One hundred thousand man armies are a common sight and engagements are daily. This is the harshest test of my battle management to date and made the Ryukyun 16th centure WC's Tribal Successions feel like child's play. My fighting armies are made up of 16/8/8 inf/cav/art and are combined and broken up as attrition and battles dictated. For every push forward made to the southeast, another 60k of Romans break my ranks to the northeast. Such is life for Pink India.

1655 comes and with Mali back in the war, fresh advancements are made all around. Sunda secures the spice islands despite inferior troops and thanks in no small part to their naval focus. Cochin's pink fingers begin poking into Persia and Cornwall begins their beach head in Amsterdam. Otomis prepare a very special Normandy of their own to give a helping hand in the war effort. A death grip that is not released for as long as the war lasts.

What kind of person could land in Amsterdam with no manpower and defeat a foe the size of 5 continents? Certainly not a woman. Cornwall puts the squeese on the Roman udders and swallows up the ex dutch lands while BYZ picks her lipstick off the floor.

Mali beats the Romans black and blue for swallowing tribute his for years. Between the African Empire and the American Warlords, gains are made in both North and Central Afica. Manpower is running low so in exchange for war subsidies from the mass naval blockade, Cochin lends out its most plentiful commodity: manpower. It seems that the Paradoxian gods have bestowed the ability for troops to be governed by foreign powers with mutual agreement. Sunda, Mali and Cornwall are given the guts of 200,000 brave Cochin warriors to use as they will. Apparently it's needed.

But they just keep on coming!

Just read the last few pages and then...THIS. That is certainly the giant purple elephant in the corner of the room that no one wanted to talk about. What an awesome endboss. I think that by the end of next update that it will be a guaranteed win though. The opening few years (once the Ai got armies built) would have been the hard parts, now that you are turning the tides on them they will just gradually lose and fall back....much like real Byzantines =)

Sweet Geez....

Oh my goodness this is awesome!

I've got to admit, I'm more than a little curious about this Ryukyu WC you referenced, DDRJake. Was that ever AARified?

Kind of. Here's the link. It is really awesome, not gonna lie.

DDRJake, you should totally put that in your sig. It's an excellent achievement.

Happy birthday to me (9th Sept). Now for the long put off conclusion of the great war.

1667: Sunda and Cochin finally make a land connection. The Roman Empire is almost cut off from its Asian holdings entirely

1667: The Pink Alliance reflect on Paris' resources which are equal to that of a mid-sized country. People flee to Madagascar for their daily dose

1669: Gotland has fled to the Americas. The Romans have been divided. Sunda and Cochin make their own plans for the lands.

From here most countries of the Pink Alliance have broken Roman Empire's back in their region. fun and puns keep us chugging along as we expand the occupation. Naturally, I shifted my capital to Rome to get a quick burst of Italian colonisation befoer moving back.

Which brings us to our sad but inevitable end. The Romans twitch like a dead horse but are well and truely put down. Although I could beat Romans with a stick all day long I and the rest of the gang have other things to do. To continue from here would be nothign more than crushing an already defeated opponent with no resemblance of challenge which is something that turns me off of any AAR. Pink has triumphed over all others from the small beginnings of Kochi. Thanks everyone for your support and I'll leave you with the final thoughts of the crew.

Profound.

Holy goodness

Congrats on achieving your goal and finishing an AAR! If you haven't already, you should report in the Library thread so you might participate in next year's OscAARs.
