Pilgrimage?

I have being playing ck2 for a long time now, however, for some strange reason, i am not being allowed to undertake a pilgrimage anywhere? And this is like this for a lot of time, i simply do not have the option to go on a pilgrimage anywhere, any one knows why?

Do you have WoL? With WoL you need to have picked the theology focus which is a bit annoying. 5 years for a +5 pilgrim bonus.

I am pretty sure that without choosing theology you also was able to undertake pilgrimage.

Did they changed it in some patch or something?

Question is: If i will not choose theology my character will be never ever able to go on Pilgrimage?

If your playthrough has WoL activated, you need the focus. And yes, if you activate WoL and never choose Theology, you can never go on a pilgrimage.
