STOP IT's NOT A PIG! IT'S SIMON! AHHHHH noooooooooooooo
oh the humanity!
NO! We all know stabbing a pig is THE manly way to raise stability! Enjoy playing with your ducats in EU3!"Pig stabbing" is an annoyingly gamey feature for a game that wants to be a simulation. As if it was possible to "buy" stability as long as a country had cash reserves.
I had prefered a system in which the charisma and/or finesse rating of the leading politician would determine a slow and steady stability recovery. Similar to EuIII.
I hope the comment is not too serious.
We could leave this feature in the game like it is possible to boost technological progress in EuIII.
But it should not be possbile to cure serious internal problems by just spending money. All of you who like the idea must at least admit that sacrificing and oracles alone did not do the trick to get a healthy state.
I mean this is Rome known for her tricky internal politics and not a tribe happily dancing around a dead pig.
Something like this?
"Your people are upset by the sacking of Liguria by the Barbarians.
[Hold a Feast of Saturnalia! (Cost $$ gold, +5 RR in Liguria)]
[Their troubles are nothing compared to the nation! (-1 stability, +3 RR in Liguria)]"
