Pictures from a WW2 logistics company

Hello,

I recently found a photo album of my grandpa who was a soldier in WW2 on german side. He was a member of the "Kraftwagen Transport Regiment 602" - probably 12. Kompanie - and was driving supplies in France, Austria, Ukraine and Russia.

His unit got pretty shaken in the outer "Kessel" of Stalingrad roud December of 42, but he made it back by foot and was later captured by russian forces in east prusssia.

Here are some pictures of the regiment probably at the beginning of the war.

If you like I will upload some pictures from France and Russia later. I sadly have only rare annotations of the locations where the pictures were taken from. So if anybody is recognizing anything, please post or send PM

Now to the dangers of supplying:

I have no clue what happened. Air attack? Artillery? Mine? I just know that all the deceased were from my grandfathers company.

I have another picture which I do not want to post with names on the graves. These state that they all died on 04th of october 1941

BT-7 tanks, maybe BT-5?, i would have to look more closely to be sure. It would put the photos to the early part of the invasion of Russia (most likely).

Ok, just one more thing. I tried not to post pictures of single persons, but I'll make an exception here. There is one (probably unsolvable) riddle he left us.

It is this picture of an (Italian?) Soldier with a writing on the back.

I know that my grandfather was in the outer Kessel of Stalingrad and escaped from there (by foot) starting somewhere in December 42/January 43. There are no pictures of this time just the following one:

This is the back of the picture:

Tarnopol is clear (Ternopil, Ukraine) - the date is also clear. It must have been taken right after reaching german lines again (all just guessed by me from the stories my grandpa told while he was still alive - he sadly never told us about this guy)

The (google translate) translation guess from me is something like "In memory of a short and happy friendship in dirty times" in assumtion that the writing is italian.

Can someone tell anything from the uniform - and can someone confirm or correct the translation?

And (Most unprobable, but who knows ...) does someone regocnize the Name "O. Havir" ? I googled it, but found nothing so far.

EDIT: As pointed out later, the name could also be "Ottavio"

I really really wonder what the story behind this picture is, but I fear it is lost forever.

this kv-2 photo should have been taken in the early days of war, probably in poland or ukraine
