  I inherited: Eire and Venice
  
  I military annexed: Hungary, Lorraine (in alliance with France), France (after a lot of wars, eating them up slowly), Poland (same), Papal States (alliance with France), Savoy (same), Helvetia, Bavaria, Serbia, Moldavia, England (after a few BB wars), Sweden (same)
  
  I took advantage of Counter Reformation by military annexing: Denmark, Pommerania, Hessen, Hannover, Hansa.
  
  Right now I am eating up: Turkey and Crimea and trying to diplo-annex Scotland. Knights are left unharmed. Spain, Russia and Scotland are my allies.

How? I thought you could only annex nations not playable. My Russia once rolled over Poland early on in a super-war and it wouldn't let me

Well, you can edit the game to make every nation annexable
Most players do it...
Or easier: DOWNLOAD THE IGC, DO IT !
It has this nifty tool to choose playable nations, just clear everyone and choose only yours

BAH, need help getting this thing running right. I can't seem to locate the commands to change to modify the game, nor can I find andthing at this site on it. Can you direct me to the usage of 1.09?

BAHHHHHH! This is frustrating! I can't seem to find anywhere how to use the commands in 1.09! You'd think they'd make it a little easier to get information already!

Ok, first of all, you have EU version 1.08 or 1.09 right?
Download IGC 2.2 from Doomdarks site.
Then unzip the zip file into your main EU directory. Let it overwrite anything. Then get into the directory and run patch.exe
Then open IGC Config tool and chhoose your option. Click apply , then close the screen and run EU.
Voila
go to scenarios and pick IGC

Okay, I'm starting to get the impression that 1.09 is not the IGC. However, I don't see anything about an IGC download, or anything about it in the general or faq or support posts. (This sounds about right). Neither is it on my original CD. What in the hell is going on here?

The IGC is a mod that modifies your whole EU.
IT is however excellent, more historical, more correct, more detailed.
Just get it at this site and play it

And indeed 1.09 is not the IGC, it's just the latest patch for EU
