Serverloh inflicted over 2,000 casualties to American soldiers landing on Omaha Beach

Yeah, I'm kinda doubting that one guy was responsible for 2/3rds of U.S. casualties at Omaha....

It is very possible that he didn't. But as a machinegunner he was the one that killed a lot's of people that day.

Edit:
As always it is impossible to tell how many someone killed in reality.

It is said that in the winter war the maschinegunners started killing people from 6 am and stopped in the evening after killing hundreds of people. They did it every day untill they become grazy and had to be sended away.

Soldiers like him killed a lot of people in that day anyway.

This guy was an excellent pilot in ww2, but it's fame hit afterwards.

Correct, two very interesting men. They had been playing poker all night, after one hours sleep they were woken up by the attack on pearl harbour. They phoned up and organized for two p40's to be armed then drove at speeds of up to 100mph during which they were strafed by japanese planes. They each bagged some japanese bombers.

Ruzi Nazar, was officer in Turkistan Legion, then became CIA agent who helped the Modernize Turkish intelligence service and MHP (Nationalist Movement Party) of Turkey against communist threat and saved Türkeş's (Founder and the Leader of MHP) and his collegues life from execution.
He also infiltrated Iran and Afghanistan, and opposed the direct action to rescue hostages in Iran and backing the radical islamists in Afghanistan
He died recently.
