Physical DVD version compatible with Mac ?

Hi,

I'm interested in buying the physical DVD version. Is there a steam key inside ? (I'd like to still get a cross-buy version that could be installed on a mac using a steam client as well)

I dont think there is an actual physical version. Atleast not in the common markets.
I thought steam was like, if you owned it on steam, the OS dont matter(as long as it exists for that OS).

Edit: I see there actually is a physical edition on amazon.
Still Steam is cross OS.

The physical DVD and direct download versions of this game are identical.

But the installers are not; the DVD only has a Windows installer on it.

So yes the DVD version will work on Mac, but only in the sense that you don't even use the DVD, you plug the Steam code directly into Steam and diownload it just as if you had bought the download version.
