We were playing a nice game of eu last night when we were hijacked by some loony impostor. He kept using our names to join the game and generally mess things up. Its possible he was the ex player from the game but he didn’t seem that pissed when he quit.

Was especially annoying for me as he stole my name twice and the players started without me to my frustration.

Now I think about it, its likely it was the ex player from our game as he must have known which country’s to pick for which names. Either that or it was someone who read the forum just to hijack a random game. Either way its very odd and very sad to think there are people that bored and lonely they have to do this for kicks.

I agree. It seems to me that there is sound circumstantial evidence that the impostor was in fact an ex-player out of our campaign. How else would he know what country to pick etc. ? Also I think it´s doubtfull that some anonymous guy would go to all the trouble of reading our thread and then laying in wait in the V-net for hours without any concrete motivation.

In this light I would like to have an explanation by Al Pharazon firstly about him just quitting the campaign without any explanation (which was seriously sucky already) and secondly what he was doing or not doing afterwards.

This is quite a dire matter to me. If Al Pharazon doesn´t respond I would suggest that we turn to the Admins and request that he´s banned.

If there´s one thing that I despise it´s a bad loser and he´s even from the same country as I am from.....yuck.

Perhaps that suspicion should not be posted in a public forum like that?

Something like this has happened in a game I was in a long time ago, which ended up involving someone who had quit the game. I wouldn't expect it to just be random- so indeed, if it's not Al Pharazon, then it's a pretty big coincidence.
But maybe it was just a matter of time before the lurking stalkers on the mp forum struck .
