When King of Dragon Pass got excellent reviews from the leading Finnish game magazine Pelit I went to search it with some friends from local game shops. It was nowhere to be found, but we decided to keep on asking. Finally a small pen and paper role-playing game store got bored of us and decided to start to import the game. We were the first to get them, perhaps in the whole country. After a few months the game appeared in other shops also, just because so many people had asked for it.
The moral of the story: it doesn't matter that much to sign a thread here. A better way is to go to a store and tell them about the case. Better yet, go there with friends willing to buy the game also and perhaps a magazine or two with praising reviews. A good retailer sees a market opportunity. Might not work with stores that are part of a chain, though.
