Petition for African Tribal Invasion

I had a semi-realistic idea for an invasion.
Once we get enough signatures, I will present it to Johan.


A Bantu tribe in Modern-day Botswana and Zambia discovers a plant that can be made into an explosive powder. They make these into powerful lances and use them to conquer the area. Just as the tribesmen look north for new lands to conquer, they discover that it can propel a projectile in a blowgun at high speeds. Europe must now fear a threat far greater than the Aztecs, the might of firearms...

+1. The Mods should start banning some of these idiots. You would think the Devs broke the game and swore not to fix it. They announced an optional DLC people! Get over yourselves!

These Petition treads have gone horribly out of hand and one can't know anymore when someone is serious and just attacking SI... and seemingly it starts to cause more trouble.

Someone should bump the DLC idea tread... maybe that would help a bit.

It seems kind of hard to separate the troll threads and the ones that actually seem to be encouraged to post their out-there ideas. This one seems somewhat plausible, and I wouldn't rush to judge, I don't like the idea, I don't like any of these ideas and I wish these threads would stop. Although I give credit to the OP, I'd say this one is the best of them, maybe even better than the DLC. I'd still pass, though, sorry.

This thread isn't serious at all. His idea is a plant that can make explosive powder and blowguns. It's obviously mocking the new DLC. Monkey see Monkey do. One person starts a thread like this and the rest of the monkeys follow.

So Paradox can develop an obviously unpopular DLC (not that they don't have every right too), and customers don't have any right to at least present grievances and say "Hey, why aren't you working on THIS instead?"
Seriously, get over yourself.

The response is literally so overwhelming that the devs' bosses say, "Hey, why aren't you working on THIS?"
Devs work on THIS because it's their job.

I don't like the DLC and won't buy it. I think it is absurd and ripe for taking the mickey out of. However, I also acknowledge that some people think it is great, we just don't need a forum flame war over the damn thing. It's just a game.
