Just a note regarding Peru vs Ecuador conflict (which ended in a short war during 1941). I hope Paradox can correct a mistake from HOI 2:
- The map of Peru and Ecuador is wrong/ innacurate: The province called "Iquitos" was almost entirely in Peruvian hands (HOI map considers the entire Ecuatorian aspirations as territorial possession.
It was simply not the case; without digging too much into international disputes, as of 1936, Peru and not Ecuador was in posession of "Iquitos" province.
From wikipedia:
"July 6, 1936: Ulloa-Viteri Accord
This agreement established a status quo border line based on the effective possession of territory that each country had in the Amazon region at the time. This border was very similar to that established by the Rio de Janeiro Protocol 5 years later. To Ecuador, the status quo line simply demonstrated how much territory Peru had taken from Ecuador in the preceding century. Ecuador never considered this agreement a final treaty of borders, and continued its aspirations which were based on Gual-Larrea and Pedemonte-Mosquera."

"Rio de Janeiro border" means the current international border between Peru and Ecuador, with Iquitos belonging to Peru
In 1941's war Ecuador lost some territory but not "Iquitos" which was "de facto" in Peruvian
"By signing this Protocol, Ecuador formally renounced its long-standing historical claim for the right to have direct land access to the Marañon/Amazonas river, in exchange for the withdrawal of the Peruvian military forces from the Ecuadorian southern province of El Oro and parts of the province of Loja. About 200,000 km² (77,200 square miles) of hitherto disputed territory in the Amazonian basin (known as the "Maynas" region) were awarded to Peru, which was already the "de facto" possessor of most of these lands since the end of the 19th Century. The diplomats at Rio de Janeiro took the 1936 Lima Accord's "status quo" line -which recognized current possessions but not sovereignty- as the basis for the definitive border line. As a result of the Protocol, and relative to the 1936 line, Ecuador ceded to Peru 18,552 km² of previously possessed territory, while Peru ceded to Ecuador 5,072 km² of territory previously under its possession"

So, I suggest that HOI 3:
Starts with Iquitos as a province of Peru
or
Divides the current "Iquitos" into 2 provinces:
- a smaller Ecuatorian province in the north east, which could be called "Condor" or "Cenepa" holding no more than 1/4 of current "Iquitos"
- and bigger Peruvian province called "Maynas" or Iquitos, holding 3/4
Another suggestion: It will be great if it is possible to actually fight 1941's Peru-Ecuador war (not just a chain of events as in HOI2).
