Personal Unions and their Vassals in war

-I recently started an Ironman game as England, and won the Hundred years war, getting France under a Personal Union.
A few years later, Burgundy attacked France (and therefore me) citing Reconquest, but the war goal is Champagne, which is only a Burgundian claim, not a core. That I can live with, but..
France's vassals haven't joined the war. I obviously can't call them, and since it's Ironman I can't merely alter the save to ensure they're in the war.

I've saved the game and have just paused to ask what can I do, since I can beat Burgundy with France + vassals, but I will probably lose without the vassals.

Edit: I really don't want to continue playing this save game unless this can be fixed because I know that I will most likely lose because of what appears to be a bug... and I can't stand that.

I reported subjects of subjects not behaving properly already (won't call master to arms, either). If you can, drop the save + bug report in the forum above.

You should take a screenshot of the war combatants screen, and of the diplomacy screen for France. Sounds like a bug (two bugs actually).

Definite bug. Report it in the bugs forum.

Sucks for your game though. All I can think of is starting another war, say with an unimportant Irish Minor, which may drag the vassals into both wars. If it fails you won't be in any worse a position.

Unfortunately, I can't start any wars due to me being in a regency council with my Child-King being 5.

You don't have to call a PU partner to war.

I don't remember if this happened to me last time I played England because I was able to beat Burgundy and in fact a coalition in the next war but I don't remember if the vassals were involved or not. That was in 1.32 or something though.

Amroth: Junior or Senior partners are automatically called. That's not the issue.
