And there isn't a way to "make" your Mobad declare GHWs that interest you. Plus, every time he declares one, I fight, and then one of my vassals gets all the land so I gotta spend some time prying it away and distribute it evenly. This is why I'm doing a Manichean Karen game, this way no pesky Mobad is gonna tell me where to conquer. Although the incest will be missed *sniff sniff*

Rayy is my capitol, in the duchy above Estafan. I got it earlier, the duchy is richer than Estafan holdings-wise.....and Estafan got populated by baronies by the time I got it .

Having said that Estafan is mostly richer due to two Silk Road Provinces. Now if only they weren't in constant war up in Steppes....

You could just invade the steppes, feudalize it all and form the super rare Empire of Tartaria. Now that is a huge investment considering how many castles you have to build

Once you've done that, you should be drowning with revenue. Oh and the Mongols won't bite by then

As you can see, there are plenty of good provinces in western India.

If you are looking to get some help with future defensive religious wars such as crusades or the Mongols, make independent realms with a cadet branch of your family (like a really far flung cousin). Several nice possible places for that is in Arabia (based in Oman), Egypt and then the coastal realms of India. Conquer them, install your family member and then release as independent to reduce threat so you can conquer more. Just make sure that they border your realm directly so that they will be incentivized to help you in defense.
