And these Persian speaking and culturaly Persian Sultans kept refusing those requests of their viziers to get rid of these Tuskish traditions, they continued granting land and protected their wild Oghuz brothers (ironically enough the very same tribes who brought downfall of their Empire).
The Seljuk army was half based on Persian-style mercenary bands, Armenians, Daylamites, Kurds and Greeks and in the other half was the unchained, but very strong Oghuz tribes.
Seljuk army based on Ghulams which most of them Turk and Turkmen cavalry
There are some locals but they are not important as Turks and actualy just militia

Blue Persia looks great and indeed stands out way more from the green Arab states. I think it would be a great change.

Does changing a country's color change the checksum? If not then do it yourself
Yes, it will.

Yes, it will.

It didn't in CK2, and since they are aiming for higher moddability for CK3 I imagine it wouldn't there either.

That being said, the average player doesn't have the knowledge to do this, and besides, people are suggesting changes they think make sense for the game itself. Modding is a good fallback though. :)

Err, yes it is. In CK II, country colours are in the landed_titles.txt file.

You can't change colours in .csv files in Paradox games and haven't been able to for over a decade.

Oh! In that case I was entirely mistaken, apologize for the misinformation, and thank you for the correction!

I was under the impression that graphical changes did not mess with the checksum, but I guess that only applies to the interface and screen, and not to color as in this case. :(

Of course. We are so close to glory of having Blue Persia without a mod (or at least I hope so in my delusion) and additionaly not having to deal with fifty shades of green in Arabia/Persia.
Yes, for that reason alone it's a good idea. There is surprisingly very little blue on the de jure map mode, so Persia and its kingdoms being blue would be great.

Yes, for the Empires it would be France, Scandinavia and Kanem-Bornu (Mongolia is more in the Purple direction). Meanwhile there are 5 green empires and Turan, Persia and the Arabian Empire are bordering each other.

For the kingdoms there is more variety in the region, but still aside of Daylam and Khorasan there are huge green blobs in this region.

yes but it doesn't uses Persian Blue. There is Colour named "Persian Blue" why not use it for Persia and use random blue?
Wouldn't call the colour of the mod a 'random blue', it looks like a good middle-ground between the standard of Cyrus the Great and the most common depiction of the Seljuk's banner.

I used the Persian blue for the kingdom of Persia.
Since the empire is most commonly visible as ruled by the Seljuks, I took and used a colour which is halfway between traditional Persian and Seljuk blue

EDIT: Just like @Ul90 assumed :)

So forming persia as Persian is impossible, and Persia is always Turko Persian colours? You are making persia, therefore it should be Persian Blue, Persians didn’t used turkic colours when Seljuks arrived. They still used Persian Blue.

I wasn't sure at first but now I can't help but see it too. It should be the same blue as the shield or at least the prettiest version of that kind of blue.

Visually I prefer the lighter blues just because the colours of the states around persia.

Oh, seriously?

It might be shocking, but France doesn't have the exact Paris blue, Bohemia is brown instead of bright red, England has some lighted version of its traditional shining red.... the Abbasids are dark green instead of Black, Fatimid Egypt also doesn't have the exact shade of green they used, even the Byzantines/Romans/ERE have slightly different shade of purple, the same can be said about Norway, Ireland, Sweden, Rus, every single entity on the map. Why? because...
... you might say because they are "impossible to form as French/Bohemian/English/Arab/Greek/Norwegean, Irish, Swedish etc."? Oh come on!

I haven't seen a single person of these amazing nations complaining that the color of their kingdom or empire isn't THE EXACT SHADE IT SHOULD HAVE. Now, yes, Persia is green in game, which isn't right. So here comes a guy, who shows a mod, which improves it and makes Persia blue. And what happens? You demand it having the exact shade you want. That's just awesome!

You know, mate. If you look around, you might realize that we are talking about a video game. The colours, just like everything else in this game are there primarily to have some function to faciliate pleasing and fun gameplay. Not to be 10000% accurate. While the exact shade of Persian blue (btw there are 3 possible variations of Persian blue, as you know) is beautiful and everything, for the gameplay purpouse of it covering huge sections of map it is way too rich, so some sort of lighter shade has to be taken.
And the fact that this lighter shade can represent both traditional Persian colour and the greatest medieval empire to be present in Persia is just a consensual way of looking at things. If you are a consensual person.
