Perma "automatic deployment", how to turn it off?!

For some odd reason in my 1.2 game the "automatic deployment" feature turned itself on. Placing units is one of the things I love and I never selected that checkbox. When I noticed my stuff was being autodeployed, and the box wasnt checked, I tried checking it on and off, but the behavior persisted.

Anyone knows where to disable this in the savefile perhaps? My fresh SS panzers aren't needed in Luxembourg, thank you very much.

Did you set production control to AI?

Nope and its on Normal and the sliders are on Manual Control.

This was a bug in 1.1 too, seems its not fixed yet. I don't remember if anyone came up with a fix for it themselves.

Try turning it on again, there's a box you need to leave checked. Worked in 1.1c.

I used to have this too. I think it has something to do with the auto deploy being turned on when you save and then load a game. It will appear as if it's off but it's in fact on. Try to turn auto deploy on. Even though it appears as you now have selected units to be auto deployed, in fact the opposite is true.

This is what I did when it happened to me. I turned it on to check it out and then turned it off. It never shut off. So I tried to turn it on for a couple of in-game hours and then turned it off and I was back in control. Give it a shot.

Thanks alot guys! Turning it on worked just fine. Its off now. Shoulda tried that!

Invading America was much easier this way.
