Performance? Magicka 2 <> Wizard Wars

Hey wizards,
I am really hyped for Magicka 2, me and my friends are already planning a playthrough-night right after the release. Unfortunately I noticed that the system requirements were really pushed up compared to Wizard Wars, meaning that my old bearded notebook doesn't even make it into the minimum requirements. Does anyone here have some informations about the performance of Magicka 2? Something official or maybe some hints taken from those Magicka-2-streams (I don't watch them because I don't want to spoil myself)?
Magicka 1 had a pretty decent performance on my notebook (bad optimization ftw) and Wizard Wars is running perfectly fine, too. Please keep in mind that "Buy a new computer!" doesn't help me, because I just bought a Xbox One about 1 and half month ago and won't be able to afford new tech in the near future.

According to your steam page, you have played 239 hours of Planetside 2... How, if you can`t even run Magicka 2? PS2 has bad perfomance even on high end machines.

Technically M2 is pretty similar to M:WW. So you should be ok. Note though, this isn't an "official" stance, we still recommend the minimum PC spec as written on the store page.

I could achieve 60FPS in non combat situations, however in combat the FPS always dropped to 25 (I set everything to low even via the config files and played on a lower resolution). At some point I realized that not my skill is the problem anymore.

Nah, our coders been conjuring some crazy optimization stuff this last months. They added more graphical options for the PC players so that highend PC can get all the good stuff without having the lowends to drag them down.

We have maxed out the performance on the PS4 so that we will be able to run 60fps in 1080p without having to scale down the visuals.
