I'm thinking of starting a new game as the old one has become unplayably laggy because of a galaxy size mod.
This has made question which is more impactful on performance, 50% more habitable worlds, or 50% more star systems?
BTW: the old save was a 1500 galaxy on 25% habitable worlds, so I've got a feeling that star systems are more impactful than habitable worlds, but who knows.

ive wondered this myself. i love the larger galaxy mods and used to love the galactic core buts thats gone now :(
80% of my games are on large 800 stars, 150% hab with a mod double double AI so i play with 55 empires and 2-4 FA

dont get any slow downs until war in heaven and thats just from the size of some of the battles
