Hi,
I'm new to the Victoria serie, so correct me if I make a mistake. I think I understood most of the mechanics of the game, but I prefer to make everything explicit, just in case.
I started playing with two sicilies a few hours ago, and I'm facing a problem: my factories are not building because of a lack of iron.
The tooltip explicitely says "gathering the following goods before construction can begin: Iron 0/33.76". The same happens for capitalists' projects, all the materials and money are gathered, but the iron stays at 0.
I don't have access to iron in my domestic market (I'm not a GP for the moment, and two sicilies doesn't have any iron mine). The tooltip for iron in the world market says: "Supply: ~912 Demand: ~1417". So basically if I'm correct, my country doesn't have access to iron at all because other countries with more prestige simply buy all the stock.
Is there a way to solve this? In reality I would simply show up and shout "I'll buy all your iron for 500 £/unit", but the game doesn't allow me to do so
