I'm trying to use the Pedestrian overpass _ korea _ yunseul mod and need some help. I have prop snapping and prop & tree anarchy installed which seem to be working. However, after I place the stairs, I cannot figure out how to connect a bridge to them. The bridge segments are always at ground level. I assume I am missing some prereq since even trying to place props that work on buildings will not work on the stairs. Can someone help fignure out what I'm dong wrong? TIA.

Are you using the pageup key to make the footpath elevated before connecting it to the overpass?

Yes but that key does nothing. It is my understanding that it is prop snapping that is the key. When placing it near a building it follows the building to the top like other props. However, neither the bridge nor other props follow the stairs. That is the crux of the problem.

Thanks for that suggestion as it does work but unfortunately this mod has some issues. The 1/2 stairs cannot be used for 90 degree intersections. There is a fence blocking the straight ahead direction. The full stairs don't work because of the center pillar, which cannot be placed across roads. Alternatively the bridges need an opening to connect a 90 degree bridge. I'm back to square 1 needing a pedestrian overpass or underpass that works and does not have a huge, unrealistic footprint.

Doesn't look like it. I have 2 roads crossing to form the intersection. I need a pedestrian overpass/underpass that will prevent pedestrians from blocking traffic flow. Thus I need a 4 way system (buildable) and none of the mods seem to do that. The only ones I can find have a huge footprint and don't really fit the type roads at the intersection. This seems like such a basic thing I don't understand why it is not built in already.

I can't think of it's name but I have a mod that automatically generates walkways over road junction when the path tool is selected. It can, however, appear unwieldy so may be one you are talking about.

For more awkward junctions I build myself using the paths in-game, plus Park Life I think gives some other options.

This mod does not automatically do anything. Unfortunately the author simply did not provide enough variations of the stairs to handle the 2 other possible conditions. There needs to be 1/2 stairs that are closed on the right, open on the left and straight ahead as well as closed on the left and open on the right and straight ahead.
