If Surviving Mars is the closest I'll get to reliving Outpost 2, then I'll suppose that's as good as it gets unless I'm magically able to produce my own game sometime in the next few decades. But I'm not convinced by the tone of the announcement trailer at all. I get the feeling it's just going to be Tropico in Spaaace!, which is pretty disappointing.

EDIT: Atleast we know there is a GSG in development since that's what Jon Schafer joined.

There was 3 Major PDS projects being worked on last time the Devs opened up about it (which was around August last year) all could be at different stages of development though.

Apologies for being naive/overly optimistic but is it confirmed that there'll be no more announcements? Could PDX be going for a sneaky reveal during the public conference, even if it means the press don't get exclusive first access? That said, there's no traditional 'project x' forum in the upcoming titles section so I'm presuming not.

King was great on Vic 3 - I was a beta for it and if he's back for it it's a great sign. Fingers crossed.
