I agree, really weird but it is what it is. Maybe we should make a request to PDX to have the release deadline moved up to right before PDXCON? Seems more fair I think.
Wanted to grab emperor tier but missed out this time! First PDXCON for me and I am really excited!! Looking forward to meeting fellow fans and also hoping to make a party or two with my fellow Kings!

Hi Horrendus, I understand that the decision seems a little strange, but let me take a moment to explain this in simpler terms to give perspective. The voucher being unavailable until October is a technical limitation of the ticketing system - at least so far as we know. While I cannot promise any changes here, it is something that we will discuss with the Events team and the folks helping us with setting up PDXCON. We will explore a few options, but unless we announce anything new on this front, the October availability of the discount voucher will remain unchanged.
As for the cut-off date for available discounted content, this is because we cannot make the promise of hypothetical discounts on unannounced/unreleased games and DLCs. The current cut-off date includes everything up to and including Imperator: Rome so this is, from the perspective of our catalog, all things released as of now.
Of which I (as probably many people buying the Emperor Level Ticket) own nearly all Games (including Imperator) & DLC. And due to it not even available for PreOrders it can probably not even be used for Bloodlines 2.
Dont you see that this makes this bonus to your most expansive ticket a bit useless? And at least from my point of view I now have to wait for October to complete my collection.
You could have given discount on future stuff,the codes are anyways just valid until March 2020.

I lived in the 7th largest city of the state that had a population of 15K at that time, though it was across the river from the 3rd largest that was about 45K then.
Sorry but this don't seem right. You are not making promise on hypothetical game, you are giving blank half off voucher.
While I can understand reasons for cut off where it is > Baron ticket is 60€, with discount up to 50€ to newest titles it could harm your revenue.
But please at least be honest. And if you cant deliver before october, maybe ditch this benefit altogether and offer something else. Or nothing - that would be at least honest
Even revenue can not be an argument. If you fill up your cart with 100 € of existing games/DLC and (with the Baron code) can get 50 € off or if you buy games/DLC that might release in the next year...not much difference.

Yes. But I missed the deadline by 1 day. (My best friend got proposed too and asked me to be her best man, and she obviously wanted to tell me in person and not on the phone, and so they already set the date...blablabla)
But I can re-sell it and then the details of the ticket can be changed by the event-company.
Ohh damn, sorry, I always read it as "two weeks before the event".
