Veterans of past events will know that an important part of the event is having talks that you can attend to learn about how we approach developing our games, the technology we implement, and the philosophies behind our design. This year will be no different because we will have just that, but as we start to prepare for October a big question that we have is what YOU are interested in hearing about.
We have a line-up of topics that we have started to prepare internally so now is the best time for suggestions of what people want to hear about. We can't promise that all ideas will turn into a talk but certainly we will try! It will also help our speakers, when building their talks, to really focus on the things our community want to know and care the most about. Is it about how our audio team create the diverse array of sounds in our games, or how we approach the intricacies of economy management, or perhaps the technology behind procedural portrait generation in Crusader Kings and how that's developed over the years? Maybe your interest lies in the Clausewitz engine itself and want to know more about what's under the hood. All suggestions are welcomed!
We'll do our best to get as many topics covered as possible and announce a full schedule of talks that you can attend PDXCON 2019 in Berlin this year soon. If you've not yet purchased your tickets and would like to know more about the biggest event in Paradox's calendar this year, head over to https://pdxcon.paradoxplaza.com/ and take advantage of the Early Bird discount before it ends!
