Nah. I'm always teching diplo to be ahead of time so Denmark gets cheaper tech via neighbor bonus (he needs the dip points more) and I'm culture converting.
I'm seeing some insane trade node values :/

What I would like to see in the next session is for the glorious nation of San Mateo to break free from it's colonial oppressors and establish itself as a beacon of liberty in the New World. Plus, San Mateo could take the three islands around it. Maybe they should be called Greater Aspecia Island, Lesser Aspecia Island, and the Confederate Island of San Mateo. Then take some of the lands north of it to consolidate its position.
I've even designed a flag for the citizens of San Mateo to wave. Red for English lands they take, Yellow for the Spanish roots, and Blue for the oceans of opportunities. And of course, the land that San Mateo owns will be in the centre.
Or am I taking this too far? : )
