Provence just attacked because France had no army - the 80K or so that I had saved down in Spain were disbanded once I decided to give up on the game.
Can we get a quick summary of NIs that everyone has picked, and why? I mean from the devs who've picked them.

Administrative primarily for mercenaries working well with (then) Burgundy's ideas. The rest revolves primarily around giving me a clear "role" as a naval power (working well with - now- Dutch ideas), and the income to support that.
Question: Is it going to be a little difficult to really showcase the Wealth of Nations features in the dev beta when Mughals and Malaya are strong player nations?

Yeah I noticed this as well. Its because I think the stream has different quality options like low,medium,high while the video is the highest quality available.
