Any chance that we'll get an updated version of the beta to poke at too, before 1.5 hits?
Please put someone on Ming
There was a debate on that. Let's say that we pretty much agree something must be done, but that it's hard to think of something to do to Ming to make them less overpowered, without turning them into a country you really don't want to play.
It's not inconceivable someone will end up in there.. but noone's starting there, no.

For those of us that work during work hours in Europe, will there be a replay on youtube or somewhere to watch?
I think it would be easier to balance Ming if it is a part of your mp games. In your previous game players in Asia were basically doing nothing and were not important at all, Ming could change this dynamic quite a lot.

A QA guy as Timurids, that's going to be damn scary. My $$$ is on you, unless they gave/allowed France or Russia to ForzaA (or did something similarly suicidal).
Nah. They don't start as a Republic. Friesland -> The Netherlands is one of the few interesting and historical ways to play a republic for 1444-1821. I would really like one of the devs to try that route. I'd even argue that it's important to have a few people play republics in a Beta test, and Venice is just boring.
I would like to say, that the couch could use some improvement in the sound department. Sometimes it was hard to hear what are people on the couch talking about...
