Pause button?

Hi I have never played EU2 and thus know not too much about it. Was there a «pause» button like in HoI? and if so will it be there too in Victoria?

Couldnt find it looking at the pics (although it could be that thing at the upper right) and didnt find it in the FAQ? Anyone know for sure? this will decide if I buy the game or not...

In EU1 and 2, just as in HoI, there were a apuse button in the upper right of the window. You could use the "Pause" button on the keyboard too, which is simpler. I guess ti'll be like that in Vickie to.

Then paradox will receive some nice valuable (NOT ) canadian dollars... by the way, speaking of money (not related but since Paradox is in Sweden), I hope Sweden kept those 20 kronors(?) with Nils Olgersson (spelling?) on them and didnt get that Euro crap. Boy was I surprised and happy when I got the money in a trip to Sweden!!! I went crazy remembering the television show for kids which was broadcast in Canada when I was a kid! I spent a day singning the show song in the streets of Malmö, driving my girlfriend completely insane

To nikolai: Bergen is real nice and I really wished i could live in Norway one day. Don't you have a siste I could marry?

Anyway, really looking forward to Vitoria and that pause button...

I've always had a minor gripe with EU2, for some odd reason the crtl [+] / [-] shortcuts never worked on my laptop keyboard, I had to go through the menu each time I wanted to change the speed on the game!

Don't know if people have brought that up before but hopefully they will fix it for Victoria.

Oh, and I know the answer to if there's a a Pause key or not but I won't answer. NDA.

What about a configurable pause button? Actually why not make every hotkey around configurable, like in most of action/sports games. Nobody would have any reason to complain.

I eagerly await the day configurable hotkeys make it into a Paradox game. Hopefully if it isn't already in the Paradox guys will look into seeing how feasible it would be.

yup thats the way I would like it - also it would be nice if there were short keys - like in hoi if they linked the letter i - to upgrade industries..... save a LOT of time.

If the pause key is left out, I will be severely disappointed. That is how I play these games--on pause.
