Patrician can't die in the oubliette if they have no hair

In the game I am a Doge.
I use "Spy on" ability to abduct/imprison a Patrician have no heir and throw him in the oubliette.
3 years passes and the other prisoners in the oubliette are dead.
A mayor in the prison will die. A Patrician have an heir will die in the oubliette.
But the patrician have no heir is still alive.
Even I assassinate him in the oubliette successfully, he's still alive.
I can execute him and he will die.
I can assassinate him successfully if he's not in the prison.
I think it's a bug.

Having an heir does not affect death chance either. Health does. If the patrician has lots of health and you have some bad luck, he can live in the obiulette for a decade or more.

But he's still in the prison.
So I let him free and assassinate him again. This time I kill him successfully and the other new Patrician appear to replace the family have no heir.
So I think it's a bug.

Still, oubliette is not Death-a-Tron 2000, which makes everyone in it dead in terms of months. While that thing with assassination must be a bug, people can easily live in oubliette for years, just like maimed person can (I once got maimed at age of 8, I lived until my 50s...without WoL).

Occasionally a "succesful" assassination just leads to a wounding despite the game telling you otherwise.

Register your game/link your Paradox account to your Steam account so your games are registered (there's a sticky explaining how), get access to the bug report forum, link save game in a bug report there. This isn't the place for bug reports.

Man that's a horrible way to got out. Anyone else noticed characters in the oubliette are picking up the lunatic trait a lot more frequently now? Just today I threw 6 rebelling vassals there, within 2-3 years they were all lunatics.

I think it's a bug.

Another 3 years passes and the patrician have no heir is still alive in the oubliette. I decide to assassinate him again. This time I kill him successfully. He is doubtless dead and replaced by other new patrician. There are only two explanations why i can kill that "hairless" patrician: Either he is not a vampire or I am a vampire slayer!
