Patriarchate of Alexandria

I play the Byzantine Empire, and have just conquered and afterwards created the duchy of Alexandria through a Holy War. However, nothing happens. That is, my Patriarchate of Alexandria slot under religion doesn't fill out. Not even if I manually put a bishop in Alexandria. Wtf...?

I gave the bishops the entire duchy when I did it, 100% sure that works. Maybe someone else can help you with other methods.

Just tried to give the whole thing to the head patriarch. Didn't help.

Make sure the Bishop in Alexandria isn't still Sunni.

How do I check that? And how do I remove him if he is?

Edit: Ah, now it worked. I just inserted an already existing bishop ^^
