In an empty enemy system, you attempt to move your troops in orbit. Instead of moving towards the planet, the transports move off the edge of the system and keep moving. The planet will eventually show them in orbit, even though they look very far away in the system.
Again in an enemy system, you send a fleet to bombard an enemy planet. The fleet drifts off the wrong way. There is an enemy scout in the system. Your fleet keeps moving in the wrong direction. It can't bombard, and it can't engage the scout due to pathing. This makes a major enemy planet nearly impossible to take.
I have a save file where this is currently happening.
