Tone river has largest basin area among Japanese rivers and rendered in EU IV screen.
But current rendering has historical problem.
I show the simple Tone river historical changes in above image.
Until early 17th century, tone river's path is like left red line in the image.
(the path frequently changed due to floods)
After Ieyasu Tokugawa moved to Kanto by Hideyosi's domination, various project about Tone river started in order to protect Edo from its floods.
First one is cut-off of Ai-no river that is one of tributary of Tone river in 1594.
Next big one is open new path called "Shin kawa dori" in 1621.
A purpose of it is main path of Tone river moves to more east.
By this project, main path of Tone river changes near the current Edo river's one and old path was cut off.
Final and biggest one is "Akahori river" completed 1654 after 30-years difficult work.
By this, Tone river was connected Hitachi river(right red line) and completed current path.
This changes led to expanding of water transportation from basin zone to Edo.
So, there is one problem,
Problem: Path of Tone river is completely wrong in 1444.
and one idea about decision among Japanese.
Decision: Flow the Tone river to east (or Tame Bando Taro )
Conditions:
Shogunate or Japan
Have Musashi, Kozuke, Shimousa, Hitachi
(a certain level of) Ducats
Effects:
Musashi: Tax +2, Manpower +2
(Because improvements of logistics derives growth of population of Edo, one of the biggest city in this era)
Kozuke, Shimousa, Hitachi: Production +1
(These area products various goods for Edo through new Tone river)
How do you think?
