patching download version of DD

hiya,

can anyone point me out how to patch my download version of DD to 1.1?
The patches that i found or tried to apply till now were for the box version.
The one i downloaded from paradox said that the patch was installed successfully but when i started DD afterwards it still said version 1.0 on the startscreen....

Huh, i ha ve the Download version too, patched it with the patch from the Paradox site, and i have DD version 1.1...

Do you have normal HOI 2 installed? For some reason the DD patch attempts to patch HOI2 rather than DD in some cases.

Problem solved already. Did a complete Re-install of DD and this time on the same drive as HOI2, previously they were on separate drives which didn't affect gameplay at all but might have caused the non-upgrading.
DD is patched and works fine now.
