I recently purchased EU2 and am trying to discover which patch i need to download, in the menu screen it reads J2V 1.04
i also heard that the scenario editor comes with the 1.05 patch, is this right?

The betapatches tweak gameplay and scenarios. They change some of the rules to make for a more challenging and realistic change. they are not official patches. Johan codes them on his spare time and then we test them out and report any bugs or new changes we'd like to see and he fixes problems and tweaks some more. The 1.07 beta patches will form the basis for the next 1.08 official patch. If you plan on playing in multiplayer, the november 26 beta is pretty much the standard. Although a Jan 20 patch is out, it has some unresolved bugs.
