Patch/Updates for consoles

How can I play it. When I semi zoom it. It turns into a slide show. And I can hardly do anything for about 10 mins.. I can't buy new areas because it turns into a slide show. And nothing responds for ages.. Soo no I can't really play it. Because the game is faulty..


Oh and answer me. If I pay money for something I would like it to be able to use it without the Fps dropping to zero whenever I do anything..

It's called expecting a service for your money not entitled.


Also its about the game play experience. Can you imagine if someone bought this during the the last few months. Do you honestly think that would be good for business. They obviously don't care

The issues you are describing are rare. The vast majority of console players aren't suffering from those, even on the older versions of the consoles.

Honestly, I thought you were complaining about what most people these days call gamebreaking bugs, meaning the fact that it's slightly more difficult to manage colonists or the other minor issues.

have you reported your issues in the bug report thread, giving the devs as much info as you can?

The game at this moment does not live up to it's title.

It is a colony management Simulation and at this present time you are unable to manage the colony you are playing ergo it's broken and not the game we purchased. Yes you can still play it just not the way it is supposed to be played.

Now if they fix it then I have no case to claim back on however if the colony management side of this colony management sim is still broken after this patch on the 8th then I guess I will be processing my claim with Paradox asking for a reference number for the claim and then going to Sony for my reimbursement.

As someone tried to describe earlier buying a car with a faulty engine doesn't mean you have to accept that it as faulty. You have recourse if it fails.

have you reported your issues in the bug report thread, giving the devs as much info as you can?

of course you know that surviving mars was released on March 15 making it less than 2 months since release and not possibly 3 months that you've been waiting for a patch?

the reason I asked about what areas you're trying to buy is that I'm starting to get the feeling that you think you're in the cities forum but actually posting in the surviving mars forum. same publisher but different developer.

as for your "I don't see any point", well you're not going to get very far if you can't be bothered to tell them your problems. you're having an issue that is either only happening to you or a limited number of people, how can the devs reproduce the problem if you don't give them any info to go from? and if they cant reproduce the problem, how can they fix the problem?

why don't you try and and be part of the solution?

it's more akin to buying a new car and the engine works just fine but a feature like being able switch from sport mode to economy isn't working.

you can still drive the car, you just can't utilize one of the feature the way it was intended. if you went into the dealership stamping your feet and crying that you've been ripped off, they would look at you like you're a small child and then fix your car.

this game is not even close to being "broken" in the video game sense of the word. you can still play the game, it has a minor bug that the devs know about and is quite likely going to be fixed in the coming patch.

I was really afraid my launch day ONE was gonna have issue. Cause in skylines from time to time would have hard lag even early. First couple weeks of mars it was hit and miss with lag. Did have a crash here and there. After got done with first play never have really had any issues since then.

You my friend have suffer from brown nose syndrome and you need a large pile of tissues to clean it.
This colony management simulation is broken because you can not manage the colony. That's more like the engine on a car that the sports function idiot!

Because support here is crap and will redirect you anywhere but where you need to be to avoid the issue. At least that seems to be what happens here at least. Still awaiting the 8th to see if this hot air will fill my balloon.

I'm not buying there Dlc. If the only time there gunna patch the game is when they release Dlc. Then this company can go bankrupt. Because this is a joke. There support has failed. There commucation doesn't exist. This company doesn't deserve money

I'm becoming sick of the negativity here on the forums.

I do have the feeling and the idea that Paradox/haemimont really want to finish their work with Surviving Mars. It's okay to remember them that we are waiting for a patch/fix, but on our turn, we do have to wait instead of crying and spouting negativity.

just play other games for a while. patch will come. just be patient.

If you don't want to wait, just quit the forums, sell your game, ask for a refund. just do something with your life. become a man.
