Patch reversal proposition

The new patches, 1.06 and 1.07 especially seems to be made for experienced players. I like them both and, IMO, there is a great game improvement but I think that many people who just start playing EUII or just like playing "observation style" games and don't paying much attention to the details, may find the game very hard now.
So my proposition is that Paradox may place again patches 1.05 and 1.06 on the site with nice "reverse from version 1.07 to 1.05" updates.

If you think the game has become too hard play with the Very Easy setting...

If you think the game has become too hard because you can't conquer the world with a one province minor, play Civ III

I like new patches because the problem with exploration made the original game a bit boring as a colonial power (eg. holland).
But how can Newbies find out all the major changes compared to the rulebook? They can hardly be expected to read the whole forum.
Have the in-game tips and the tutorials been changed accordingly?

DeConinck answered somewhat but I'm eager to continue. I'm not complaining that the game is too hard to me (well, to say the thruth I'm for more game complexity to make it even harder not to mention that I supported some of the changes introduced in the latest patches) but I think that it is possible that EU II is now very hard for begginer or "observer".
