Patch question

Is the Patch 1.02 going to come out soon? it's been in beta for some time and the last update was a month ago.


Why is the beta patch breaking my mods? did it add anything new?

1) We are still working on it, but a new beta patch may be released soon (if all goes as planned)
2) The 1.02 beta patch changed the misc.txt and policy_effect.csv, but it's an easy to fix and some mods (like Kaiserreich) released an hotfix soon after the release of the beta patch

I really wish they'd release another beta that fixes the china issues sooner rather than later.
I understand that they're adding new content and features, which is great and I totally understand this takes time to do properly - but the last patch badly broke the East Asian theater so people now have to either knowingly go back to a less polished version or play a game with a major balance issue.

... half assed beta... hell even a hotfix that fixes the issues introduced with the last beta maybe?

You are asking the same question over and over again. I know it's important to give a feedback to the devs, but telling everyone 1 by 1 "Work in progress" is also consuming their time. If you would chill down, maybe they could concentrate on developing and testing.

Sure we do - you can check DH Facebook and Twitter where we often post details of what to be expected for 1.02.

It is almost 100% sure that there will be a second public beta of 1.02 patch before sending it for official release.
Currently estimated beta release date is in 1-2 weeks from now, but please don't take that as a promise yet.

Take as many time as you need, and don't pay attention to any outrage because of delays. The outrage would become larger (and justified) if you would release a flawed (just one word: China ... ) patch.

Yes seriously, please dont release it if its not ready. I really like the way you guys are so passionate to constantly improve the game by e.g. adding new scenarios even after the release. Unfortunately this morale has become very rare in the developer scene these days. So, keep up the good work! I appreciate it!
