I have recently installed EU and the IGC 2.3.I have experienced a couple of CTD's and was thinking that the EU patch might (or might not) address this.Either way can I install the patch as I am right now or do I have to install the patch before the IGC ?Thanks in advance for any responses.

The procedure *must* be:-

Install the Game
Install the Patch (you should always install the latest as stability is always inproved in each)
Install the IGC

To be fair, you *can* install the patch after the IGC... you just can't expect it to work :D

Not at all! Copy both the saved game files (found in the folder called "Saved games" or something within your EU-folder), install the patch, install IGC, put the saved game files back, and you're ready to rock and roll.

This should work, if not, blame me.:D The worst thing that happens if it doesn't work is that you lose the game, nothing else. Take that chance.

BUt Paradox doesn't do stuff like this, you can still use your savegames.

As Barkdreg said, they don't. Since they have allowed easy editing it would be absurd to torture their fans like that.
