Patch Problem Direct2Drive

Hi all,

I bought the game on Direct2Drive.com. After the installation I chose to do the update as suggested by the game. After applying the patch it didn't start anymore (before the patch it did as supposed to). I didn't find a special patch on the direct2drive website, so I am wondering: Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

The patch gets applied without any error messages. But if I try to run the game after the patch, I get an error window right after I double click the EIC icon: "There was a problem with your installation. Please reinstall and try again." :wacko:

Did you close the game before installing the patch?

I'd recommend you run the patch again (be sure that the game is not running on the background).

If this doesn't resolve this issue, please let me know.

The problem persists... I downloaded the file eic_patch3_de.zip applied the patch again. If I start the game the same message as mentioned above pops up. I am using Windows 7, Intel Core2 Quad CPU and have a nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS 512 SLI system.
