Should work on saves, might need to run the game a bit for pop consolidation to happen though.

Thanks. I’ll give it a year of game time and see how much faster it is. :)
It worked great. After a year, I was seeing time pass at nearly 3 times the speed I saw with 1.0.4. This is such a great improvement!

Did this fix the bug where generals stay eternally busy (and immortal) if you send them on the American Western Expedition?
Actually, they are not really immortal. I twice had a busy general who ended up dying - and replaced by another busy general , although replacement of the second one ended up dying without being replaced!

Did you check that pop merging doesn't bring back the notorious craftsman mass culture conversion exploit in vicky2 when pops were merged under certain circumstances? :p

I'm not working on V3 though, never even looked at the code to it. I was just referring to how it was working on V2.

Oh... I thought its gonna be obvious I mean late game and AI. Seems you didn't commit too much attention to how countries change over time. In short: I never played russia or france. But in EVERY game I played France gets ridiculously high pop growth while russia ridiculously low. Should be opposite to make the game even a bit historically accurate. Monstrous France with double the size population of russia (in reality russian population was four times larger in later period) kinda ruins it for someone who needs a bit of historical immersion.
Possible fix would be to add a birthrate modifier that increases pop growth for when a state/territory is very sparsely populated, as sort of a reverse to the overpopulation birthrate malus

Wait, y'all's flotillas were losing morale? I could never get mine into a fight in the first place. Enemy ships just operated wherever they pleased and my ships did much the same.

If the rebels have already capitulated and the supporting team has no wargoals against you (because the rebels are gone), you can capitulate to get out of the war. It's definitely a buggy state of affairs to be in a war where neither side has wargoals to enforce, but capitulating out of it will do no harm (despite the big scary popup saying so).
Oh. Thank you for this tip. It is a good way for a workaround :). I will use it:).

I have two suggestions.

First, Trade revenue should use market price rather than average, using average price cause trade export from high price market to low price market, that should never happen in any cases. The market is instant price in this game. In another word, the market price is average price when the trade happen.

Second, The price range should split into two, the max range 0.75 is not too expansive for a shortage good but the -0.75 is too low, the range 1.0 to -0.5 should be better than current one.

Most of them come out bald. And it comes out naked.

So, the Metternich system will now be called "The Burlesque Show of Europe" instead of the Concert of Europe?

If you have army spending on minimum then there are not any new recruits.
My army wages weren't at min, but one tick down. It was the problem though, however I also had the recruitment decree on in the province so I would think they would have still filled slowly. I had to put wages back to normal before hiring began.
