How strange, Steam downloaded something for CiM at 115 MBs but I'm still sitting at version 1.0.9
Its a bug in the description. The version number isnt updated. I had this as well when I updated to 1.0.10 from Gamersgate. They promised to fix this in future patches.
They have fixed the bug in the description. My game says I'm on 1.0.11.
@ Lockheart: Maybe you should uninstall the game from Steam and download it again? I'ts quite small anyway, so it should only take maximum a few minutes.
Hmm...I think number of traffic is not the problem Its the behavior of traffic.
The game is finished. They cannot change the behaviour of traffic within 4 hours.
Patch has worked wonders for me. Playing Sandbox Berlin, traffic is no problem at all. In the meantime, I am currently staying financially afloat (just - but for the first time!) by following these tips:
1. Building small bus and tram loops off a base metro
2. Borrowing only what I need - but enough to get the metro going
3. Charging as much for tickets as I can get away with
4. Building trams OFF of the streets using avenue centers squares and walkways
5. Using the London bus which is much more reliable than the others (breakdown rate of only 4%)
I guess this patch is not available to Gamersgate custormers yet? Funny though, steam is usually the one behind by days or weeks in patching.
I almost miss the traffic (just played 3rd campain Vienna. No problem with traffic at all! ). So thanks for the patch, it's working well for me.

That really hasn't been the case in a long time.
