, it always adds 0.1 each time or goes upto a new figure with an expansion eg 2.0, 3.0 ect.
A patch on release day always amuses me.

Imo when they release patch with optimisations for lag, it will help a bit for those who got low/medium computers, the ppl with better mashines will expierence the same little lag. Just I think so.
why is that ? just because a beta phase has ended or the game has gone gold doesnt mean development grinds to a halt there ...
no matter how many beta tests you do you never get all the bugs, you never manage to optimize the game for all possible configurations ...

I agree, a patch on release dates is really amusing, yes ofc the development of the game does not stop but hell - a patch that fixes cruical bugs on the release date? That is just hilarious anyway you look at it imo. Not saying I don't appriciate it though.

But they used to. EU2 1.09, Victoria 1.04, CK 1.05 etc.
Well that has changed with the last few releases and I don't imagine them changing that.
come to think of it, i read singletons AAR where he played the soviets and he didnt notice a broken stalingrad there so im gone assume it slipped in after the beta

You're complaining about something you have no clue about. If the location of Stalingrad means so much to you it's easy to mod, and there's alreadya map mod project underway.
I really do not understand your insistence to defend PI..stalingrad is in the wrong place ok?..it is important place in WW2..so, why do you tell us "mod it" instead of how such a detail couldn't be seen by programmers..assume that I do not now anything about modding and hate mods made by gamers and paying money for the game..then what? I just tell my complaints about a game which I think to pay for..
