So let's say the pdox staff decides to release a new patch for Vicky 2, what would you like them to add?
Patch 3.04 bought in many good changes, like setting your decisions to ignore them. Would it be nice if you could do that to some of your colonies as well?

The thing I'd want most would be a better way of showing both your influence and that of your closest rival in each country at a glance in the outliner. Color coding the other country's influence so you can see what level they're at would help (such as green = safely neutral, yellow = cordial, orange = friendly, and red = in their sphere), rather than having to hover over each country individually in the outliner, or go to the diplomatic menu. Watching those numbers in the outliner and waiting like some kind of vulture is incredibly tedious, and could be simplified even without any significant redesign of the system (which I hope V3 does).

I like the feature from Imperator, where I can add new regiments into existing army directly in the army window. In Victoria 2 I have to create new rally point in the province, where my current army is located and then manually create new regiment in closest available province and... well its too complicated, when I want to add for example only one engineer regiment. Maybe there is simplier way how to do that but this is just too tiring...

1. The economy if they can make the economic system become more real, now the "market" Mars is so illogical.
2. Religion: the religious system of basic useless now, I don't think there will be many people use or care about it.

This, or some kind of alert system to show when you should/need to do some action. Not just for increasing your influence level (as it currently does), but also for when rivals are close to being able to remove a sphereling and you need to take action to preempt it.

Indeed. One of my favourite things about Victoria 1 was how some parties got support from particular religions or ethnic groups, as well as there being major and minor parties. Removing this from Vic 2 made it blander.

thats basicly pretty similar to national ideas in EU4 or other paradox games.it can actually be worked out with triggered modifiers or tech schools,
however its just that too many modifiers are now broken and unusable, its meaningless on just handing out everyone the same modifiers just with different numbers

10 years and most people have gave up hope for vic3 already, if realistically vic2 is ever ever gonna get a patch, i hope i fix the broken modifiers and possibly add some more, that will leave better space for modding, at least, for hpm, thats the real vic2 dev for me

Better army managing would make the experience so much easier, it would remove a lot of the micromanaging and allow you to focus on the important without eliminating completely army managing.

Also i would love if capitalists made decisions based on the economy: "mm the price of steel is skyrocketing, lets build that" not like they do now "mm the price of steel is skyrocketing, lets build the 1000000th furniture factory". More grounded capitalists would make playing with a party that allow capitalists to invert so much better.
