"Failing flank is much more punishing now, a surrounded flank or a failing mid-flank are catastrophic."
How does a flank get surrounded?
Exactly what it sounds like: having only units in the middle flank, with nothing in the right and left flanks. This actually used to be a legitimate strategy, as an overwhelmingly concentrated middle flank can more easily rout the enemy's middle flank and overcome the flanking penalties from the enemy's left and right flanks."Failing flank is much more punishing now, a surrounded flank or a failing mid-flank are catastrophic."

If I have a republic vassal that starts out small, but ends up conquering large amounts of my realm from my other vassals, what will happen?- You are now only allowed to have a certain percentage of counties under republic vassals (MAX_REPUBLIC_COUNTIES_IN_REALM)
