Hello HoI Team and thx for all your work on 1.7 update and cool DLC!

Unfortunately there are some bugs present so lets hope there is 1.7.1 patch soon...

I did go to check the Ship designer immediately after update to see the effects of tweaked stats and found these...

Recon planes reducing speed by -10% !!! That is same effect as all the armor on BC? This will mess up all cruisers vs the rest of the fleets and fleet compositions...
BB and BC armor have no difference in speed reduction between tiers! BB armor II vs I is 3x more deck armor but the added weight means absolutely nothing for speed?
Cruiser armor have difference of 2% between tier I and II btw...
So for example one of the fastest BBs of its day Littorio is now capable of breathtaking 19,7kts (as in PDX OOB config as BB tier II) vs 29-30kts IRL...
On the other side of ocean it is same story, Warspite is doing 20.2kts (as in PDX OOB config as BB tier I) vs 23-24kts IRL
Also the Secondary batteries should have difference between tiers I and II coz they are getting bigger / heavier (120mm vs 152mm) now both are -2% till tier III at -3%
Most of Mine warfare equipment is just off as Pandia posted here:

Hope there will be patch soon coz the naval stuff is quite out of place...

im working on a short term fix for these issues, i will look at armor shemes tomorrow

So, submarine convoy raiding against an enemy that has escort fleets ... say for example England ... was already basically a waste of time. The cost of 1 sub = 8+ convoys, and they were already easily found and killed. Unless you completely destroy all of a country's convoys or can 100% interdict them, strategically it's a waste of time as well. Seems like this patch further exaggerates that by making subs even easier to find. We continue the trend since the release of HOI 4 of Submarine raiding being a completely ineffective strategy for Germany. Much better to create surface raiding fleets since they can easily outrun Britain's convoy escorts.

Can you please fix the AI flaw that causes England to completely not defend the British isles and other critical locations like Gibraltar and move all their troops to sub-Saharan Africa once Italy enters the war? Right now submarine raiding is a complete waste of time and building a single large surface fleet to provide naval superiority in the channel and then invading a completely undefended British isle easily knocks the Allies out of the war by 1940.

Hey i just reported the speed reduction bugs for naval modules.

Wrong speed reductions from serval naval modules.

Patch says:
mine sweepers 2.0% but give 20% reduction instead.

floatplane catapult and improved airplane catapult give 10% speed reduction. I dont think thats correct at all.

depth charges give a wopping 10% speed reduction.

We kinda need a hotfix for this.

No ETA as of yet, but yes this will get hotfixed. We'll let you know as soon as we can.

Well Defeating germany is not so hard while I play as Soviet Union. Even when alone. Well basicelly not allone because i had communist China on my side and monarchist britain for some reason go to war with the Germany. America was fascist in my game. Now i have to figure out how to build stronger and better fleet to overcome difficulties with USA big water border. But game is pretty fast after this update.

So, what is exactly improvement does the 64 bit do? Can you be more specific?
The diffrence is that 32 bits supports 3 gigs or ram and 64 bits supports way beyond that.. what does that mean? well
You can run more mods with less risk of the game crashing due to memory overload
the game can run faster becuase it will use more of your ram.. if you have extra ofc
and mods can have way more things added to it
:D
Have fun playing with mods

4 gigs.

4 GiB is only possible for 32 Bit Software working on a 64Bit OS. 32 Bit Software on 32 Bit OS can only use 3 GiB, since 1GiB is reserved for the OS.

Both only works if a correct flag is set, without the flag is even lower.

Could we soon get a general buff to Grand Battle Plan doctrine? As of now, it is the worst doctrine in the game. It is only made useful (barely) if you're able to grind your planning skill on your generals/FMs. 30% base planning from the left side is entirely too little. Most MP mods have increased this to 40-50%. Which seems to be perfectly OK.

Well another possibility is changing other things in the doctrine tree.

I think it means that that Modded Pictures you can use faster and easyer for Modding and ingame. But there should be People which know that better.
It means when modders are working on pictures, sprites, unit models and a bunch of other stuff, they can keep the game running and use the reload command from the console to see if the changes they made went right, instead of having to restart the whole game every time they make a change. No meaningful change to a player, other than mods getting updates faster thanks to one less annoying step in the development process.
