If the AI programmer is now the project lead (congrats btw) does that mean the AI will receive even greater attention for eu4?

Even without the AI being smarter, clearly a single human in a world full of current-technology AIs is the biggest threat and should be eliminated above all else. That is known before the game starts so doesn't even require any intelligence from the AI if you allow it to know that a particular country is human-controlled. The only exception would be if the game's victory conditions were about the condition of the world as a whole rather than the performance of your own country.

Yeah. If the AI was really playing to win all of them would immediately band together to reduce the human to a vassalized OPM and intervene whenever said human tried to break free.
