Do those units "remember" how much path did they already been gone through? (because sometimes they remembered their destination, but after reload they started walking from their starting point - very annoying in siberian or african wastness)

If you are referring to units that are the units of the player country, then yes, but if you are referring to units of allied of puppet contries under direct military control, the answer is no. These units will stop on reload, most of the time. This is what I thought you were talking about.

I thought that too, and the answer is yes.
They still start walking from their starting point after reload, but the ETA is still the same as before reloading.

You mean this was fixed in 1.2? Because at least in MP this was not the case in 1.1. I have yet to mil control a minor in 1.2 so I dunno, but we still have minor armies stopping in 1.1.

Well, I'm not sure, if that mean that it was really fixed. Unit orders were canceled on two occasions - on declaration of war and on reload. It seems the first one is ok now, but that doesn't necessarily mean the same for the second one.

What about AI's units? Does AI still recalculate all his unit movements at the reload?

It might not specifically say it, but I have NEVER had the AI cancel a move order of a Military Controlled ally since I applied the 1.2 patch. Not on a restart, and not on a DoW.

Problem installing arma 1.2

Hey guys, i have read all the posts above about installing arma 1.2 and i still cant make it... :| i install DD without patches then i install arma and then i patch it with 1.2 from the link given in this forum... and the game crashes everytime i try to run a campaign... i have noticed i have diferent checksums from arma to arma 1.2, and they were suposed to be the same right?! how can i make them the same? can i edit something? if somebody could help me i would be very apreciated cause im dying to play this game with arma 1.2... :)

You think that is a bug. I rather thought that was good, even if unintentional. But yes the game still functions that way.

The checksum will change when you patch. With 1.2 installed it should be VBLV.

When I downloaded it it kept trying to patch over my Doomsday install creating the same crashes when starting campaign thing, After a reinstall I looked at the path and saw it was the wrong one :mad: , C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Doomsday and had to change it to C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Armageddon instead.

BTW I have anthology

BTW I have anthology

On the Anthology CD the applications HOI2 DD and HOI2 Arma are treated as completely separate installs....

The patch was designed for those of us without the Anthology.... where we had to install Armageddon as an add-on pack on top of our HOI2 DD installation.

This maybe a bit off topic but I just ordered Anthology to be delivered in a few days and I was wondering do I need to have all the patches and fixes for HOI2 and DD and Arma before I install Anthology? Btw I currently only have HoI2 vanilla.

You only will need the Arma 1.2 patch for the Anthology. Every other gam,e comes fully patched to the most recent version.

When you apply the 1.2 patch make sure you put it in the proper folder, which will be \...\Armageddon, not \...\Doomsday
